Orange-Craisin Oatmeal Cookies

I took an old favorite and added some orange zest, craisins, white chocolate chips and nutmeg for a delicioso cookies! You'll have to try these. I wish you could smell through the computer, because the orange zest in these make the whole kitchen smell so amazing. 

Orange-Craisin Oatmeal Cookies
3/4 c. shortening
1 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. granulated sugar
1 egg
1/4 c. water
1 tsp. vanilla
Zest of one medium sized orange (about 1 tsp.)
1 c. flour
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
3 c. oats
1 c. white chocolate chips
1 c. dried cranberries

Cream the shortening and sugars. Add the egg, water, vanilla and orange zest. In a separate bowl sift the flour, salt, baking soda, cinnamon and nutmeg together. Add the flour mix. Add the oats, and mix just until combined. Stir in the white chocolate chips and dried cranberries.

Bake at 350 degrees for 10-12 minutes. Yummers!!
