Disney Baby Feature
My little boots were recently featured on Disney Baby! I was shocked, and also answered my question as to why I had over 600 shop views in one day last week! It's a crazy time of year that's for sure.
Here's the little blurp about my boots from disneybaby.com:

Master Bathroom Re-Do
In our master bathroom we have a separate little room for the toilet. I've never really thought of this as a room, but I decided that it was dull and depressing and needed some help. Here's the before and after:
First the room need a fresh coat of paint. I used a really light blue called "Morning Jog".
For the flower vase I took an empty oatmeal container and wrapped it was Jute and glued it a bit along the way. Then I put together the cabinet I bought from Target. I had tried painting some curtains a few weeks ago, but it didn't turn out how I thought, so I used a piece of that curtain for the back of the cabinet for a little spunk. Added some knobs, a toilet seat cover and a soft rug and called it good.
Another room done!
The Bijou Market
I was lucky enough to be a vendor at the Bijou Market this weekend. I've had the jitters for months getting ready for this event and building up an inventory while keeping up with online orders. Here are a few pictures of my little set up:
Now that this is over, it's time to gear up for the Christmas rush!

Sweet Potato Casserole
The holidays are coming, so it's time to get festive. I am a sweet potato lover, and this casserole does just the trick. And it has less than 200 calories per serving. Can easily be doubled for big family dinners! Servings: 4
Sweet Potato Casserole
2 large sweet potatoes
2 egg whites
2 Tbsp. maple syrup
1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
Topping
1/4 cup chopped pecans
1 Tbsp. brown sugar
1 Tbsp. melted butter
1/8 tsp. ground cinnamon
1/3 cup dried cranberries (you could use dried apricots or dried cherries, or both!)
1. Wash and peel 2 sweet potatoes and quarter them.
2. Place the sweet potatoes in dutch oven or sauce pan and cover with water. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat; cover and let them simmer for about 20 minutes. Drain and then mash.
3. Place in a large bowl and set aside. In a separate bowl, beat the egg whites, syrup and vanilla. Let the potatoes cool slightly and stir in the egg white mixture.
4. Grease a loaf baking dish and transfer the potatoes. Combine the pecans, brown sugar, butter and cinnamon. Sprinkle on top of potatoes. Bake, uncovered, at 350 degrees for 25 minutes.
5. Add the dried cranberries and bake for another 5 minutes. Serve and enjoy!
